Who are we?

The Earthmoving Company is a plant hiring company that was established in the year 2000.  At that stage a TLB was the only machine on the books and bush clearing and the building of dams were the main activities.  As time went by, more machines were bought and the range of services expanded.

 

The company built dams and roads for the Mpumalanga Government for quite some time.  The upkeep of gravel roads in plantations for Safcol (now Komatiland) was also long term projects. 

 

The Earthmoving Company diversified by buying a low bed to transport its own machines but also that of clients.

 

As time went by, the business environment changed and that meant The Earthmoving Company had to adapt its vision as well.  The main focus of The Earthmoving Company now included the completing of projects and the supplying of machines & trucks. 

 

Today the fleet of vehicles consists of water trucks, crane trucks, industrial water pumps (Pioneer) and tippers.  Contracts as far as Vivo (Louis Trichardt), Botha Ville, Ellisras and Port Elizabeth have been serviced.  Some of the vehicles have completed contract at various mines and at Kusile Eskom Power Station.  At the moment the plant is heavily involved with WBHO Construction to finish the N4 outside Nelspruit.

 

The next venture was a workshop where the FAW Trucks Agency was acquired and focused on maintenance, rebuilds and repairs on trucks, LDV’s and plant

 

The company also manufactures safety harnesses for mining plant for instance LHD, 100D, loco’s, EJC, wagners, dump trucks, CTX and torro’s.  All harnesses are custom built to your requirements.

 

Another line was the building and renting out of solar powered lighting plant.  900w systems with 45000 lumens lights with 5 day back-up systems

 

The company is already a vendor at Barberton Mines

 

The Earthmoving Company is a LiuGong Forklift approved  dealer.  We are in the process of establishing a  fully equipped  Liugong Forklift workshop and show room is in Nelspruit.  From where parts will be supplied as well as 24 hour standby service will be delivered.
